Michelle got married!!!

A few weeks ago my SIL tied the knot! She was an absolutely beautitful bride, the groom, handsome, and the party, a great time! We are so happy for Michelle and Rod and know that the Lord with bless them with many happy years of love and marriage and lots of beautiful babies!

Hubs and I finally bit the bullet and booked a much needed vacation! In two short months we will be headed to Mexico! CAN. NOT. WAIT! We initially planned to take a vacation for our anniversary in June, but with the new job and the new hospital opening, no such luck... So we will be celebrating our belated 2nd wedding anniversary and also our anniversary of our first date!

We will be staying at The Excellence Resort in Playa Mujeres!

We booked a two story room with a jacuzzi that over looks the ocean! It seems like paradise!

Only 62 more days to go!

Update!

Hello! I've been soooo horrible at blogging... Life has been crazy busy lately. Between birthdays, anniversary's, holidays, weddings, and everything else in life, the little blog has fallen to the wayside. I really want to get back into, but I'm having a hard time.

So instead of trying to write out the last months goings-ons, I'll just post pictures. And promise again that I will get better.

This past weekend Jeremy and I were feelin kinda bored... So what do young and crazy 20-somethings do when they're lookin for something fun to do? Go to Bed, Bath & Beyond and Lowes of course, I mean we do live in the suburbs. What else would we do?

We wanted a project to work on. So I decided that we were finally going to bite the bullet and hang the lanterns I've been wanting on the back patio (Jeremy was a little panicked about drilling into the brick). They turned out great and they make the back patio look more complete.

Overall it was a pretty inexpensive project considering we went the non-electric route. We already have an overhead light and fan so lighting up the patio wasn't an issue. We used battery powered candles instead and I love the way they flicker!

I can't believe it's been so long since my last WILW post! I can't believe I actually got around to blogging on a weekday too... it's been forevs!




So here I go....

I'm loving my hubby! He always knows how to calm me down and get my crazy OCD butt to relax! It's been a necessity these past few weeks!




I'm loving Avani's mud mask. I totally got duped into buying it while at the nail salon a couple weeks ago... There was a little sales girl trying to sale the stuff, she was so sweet and excited about the product, and after about 8 people turning her down I just couldn't say no. I finally tried it out last night and the massive zit I had on my chin yesterday is pretty much gone and my pores look very clean! Pretty excited about it! The only downside is I accidentally got some mud in my mouth and I almost vomited! It tastes horrible! Ha!



I'm loving that our 2 year anniversary is only a few days away! I can't believe 2 years has flown by so fast! I'm such a lucky girl!




I'm loving that I finally finished the massive amount of laundry I had piled up! Folded and put away even!

I'm loving that Miles and Sara got married this past weekend! They are such sweet couple and make each other so happy! I know there will be many many years of love and happiness in store for them! Sara was one of the cops on Police Women of Dallas on TLC so I like to pretend it was a celebrity wedding! Miles is a Dallas cop too and he was in a couple of the episodes as well!

I'm loving that my fav TLC shows are back on! 19 Kids and Counting and Sister Wives are so addicting! My dark little secret!






I'm loving My BIg Fat Gypsy Wedding too! Oh. Ma. Gosh! Have you seen this show??? Ca-razy! I'm addicted!

Helllloooooo...

I'm still alive... Just barely ;)

I've been working away. I've just been absolutely exhausted when I get home and haven't felt like being on the computer. The weekends have been jam packed too. This past weekend was the first Saturday me and Jer have had in a couple months that we haven't had plans! It was fantastic! We slept in, took Beckett downtown to check out the farmers market then took him to the park to play. We then went to the arboretum and walked around and enjoyed all the beautiful flowers! It was hot hot hot though! There were so many weddings and photography sessions going on out there and I felt horrible for them... We came home, took a nap, and I took a looooong relaxing shower. Jeremy surprised me with a date to Ocean Prime! I had the most fun drink while there called berries and bubbles! Complete with vodka, champagne, blackberries, and dry ice! It was bubbling and going crazy, I was almost afraid to drink it... Almost! It was the perfect day! My heart, mind, body, and soul needed it!

We also headed out to the lake for Memorial Day. My Beckett was such a brave boy and actually got in the lake and played! It was hilarious! I'm pretty sure that if he didn't have a life jacket he would drown...













It was a great weekend! I'm so thankful for a hubby who knows when I need a lil extra love and attention! He made my heart beyond happy this weekend!
