Roses for Rescue

One of my biggest passions is Boxer Rescue! I adopt, donate, and advocate!

Bubba, Beckett, & Buckley have all been adopted into our family and they have been one of the biggest blessings in our lives.

If you've been reading for a while you know my obsession for my Beckett! We rescued him last summer. He came from an abusive home and had several behavioral issues. He was really aggressive with most men and other dogs and they were initially going to euthanize him. Luckily his foster momma was called and she decided to take a chance on him and after several months working with her he was able to be adopted. He still needs training and we continually work on socialization and behavior. You wouldn't recognize the dog that he has become from where he was just a few months ago. I thank God they saved my sweet boy. Beckett is our world, we wouldn't know what to do without him!

We adopted Beckett and my parents adopted Buckley from Legacy Boxer Rescue. They are truly amazing!

Here is a video montage to see some of the sweet babies they have saved!

I know it's still a few weeks away, but I wanted to get the word out. They will be hosting a fundraiser on April 2nd - Roses for Rescue!!! If you are in the Dallas area it would be awesome if you could come out and support the Boxers and get some pretty flowers outta the deal too!

Loves!

This is going to sound odd, but I think we actually adopted my Labradoodle from one of the ladies that helps with the Legacy Boxer Rescue.

That is a great cause and if I were in North Texas, I'd be there in a heartbeat!

awww your little family is so cute!! If I had a yard, I would so adopt a dog. I just hate mornings so much I can't possibly get up in time to take them out, plus I want my pup to be able to run around outside, not be stuck in my little apartment all day.

Beckett is so cute! I think adopting a dog is such a great idea. It's so nice to see a dog go to a good home. :)

By the way, I gave you an award on my blog. :)
