Saturday I completed my first race since my 5th grade field day relay race!
I completed the Cowtown 5K in 29.45 minutes!!! I finished in the top 25th percentile of my gender age group (my analyst side coming out)!!! I was very proud of myself! I can't wait to do my next race and I'm convinced I can do a 10K now! Maybe in April??? I think it would be amazing to do that before my birthday (my original goal was to do a 5K before I turned 27, it would be awesome if I doubled it!)
Jeremy and I also talked about possibly doing the Cowtown Half Marathon next year. It's a crazy goal, but I think it would be a really great way to keep us working hard!
My Daddy was my own personal paparazzi for the event. There were over 80 pictures from the 30 minute race, I wouldn't bore you with all of them... So here are just a few of my favs!

Congrats, Kendall! That is awesome!
HI there! New follower from Mingle Monday! That is an amazing time! Gee? And you say you hadn't run a race since you were little? That's awesome! I have a running blog. Check me out!
Hi Kendall, I'm visiting from Meg's MM...love that you're a fellow runner (following you now!). That's a great time for someone who hadn't run a 5K before! Races are pretty addicting; I ran one every month last year up until I fractured my foot in September - 6 days before the Maui Half Marathon... :(
That first photo of you and your husband is adorable - you look so happy and excited!
Anyway, it's nice to meet you! I'm looking forward to reading along!
Aloha,
Angie
Congrats!!! Love the pictures!
Congrats! I am always amazed by runners! I am SO NOT one!
Congratulations! That is such an amazing accomplishment. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Congrats on the race! I have my first 10K later this month. You can do it. Your time on your first 5K was amazing!
